This would allow us to better serve our existing clients and expand our market reach,”

The decision to open a London office was fueled by the increasing number of UK clients and the recognition of untapped opportunities in the market. However, the expansion process wasn’t without its challenges. Alice highlights that the most significant hurdle was navigating local employment regulations, particularly around visas and employment contracts. “Goodwille played a crucial role in helping us overcome these obstacles, ensuring that our contracts were compliant with local laws and assisting with visa applications to retain key talent,” she says.

For Nordic businesses considering setting up in the UK, Alice offers practical advice: “Seek expert help where you lack knowledge. Initially, we tried to handle much of the research ourselves but quickly realized that professional guidance was essential. Engaging experts early on has been critical to our success.”
