MYndspan

A world-first new brain imaging service from MYndspan has been hailed as being of “immeasurable value” in helping to support brain health, and is set to play a key role in helping to protect athletes against the effects of concussion.

MYndspan uses non-invasive Magnetoencephalography (MEG) brain scanning technology to measure electrical signals between neurons to form a detailed map of brain activity and function.

MEG can identify ‘invisible’ injuries to the brain, such as concussion or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), that cannot be identified from an MRI image.

MYndspan’s service combines MEG scans with gamified tests of cognitive function, which measure a range of mental processes such as attention, memory, and visuospatial processing.
