    Siw Andersen, CEO, Oslo Business Region

    Siw is the CEO of Oslo Business Region. She is passionate about entrepreneurship, city development, design, patterns and art. Since 2007, she has been leading complex projects in the startup world and creative industries such as Katachi Media, Norwegian Fashion Hub and Oslo Innovation Week. Born in South Korea, raised in Hallingdal, and educated in Oslo, Singapore and London, she still enjoys travelling the world (on and offline) to meet new ideas, people and cultures. Siw is a board member of Oslo Architecture Triennale and Bærum Arthall. 

    Christopher Parmo, CFO/COO, Verdane

    Before joining growth technology investment firm Verdane, Christopher Parmo built experience in a range of senior executive roles in the technology industry. Originating from management consulting, he was VP Finance of Software companies Visma and Software Innovation, before co-founding online grocer Godtlevert. Parmo has been backed by a total of seven VC/PE firms in his companies, before joining Verdane. Parmo has responsibility for the firm’s organisation and operation, including Verdane Elevate, a team of portfolio experts. Verdane is a leading Northern European tech investor and has grown significantly since Parmo joined, in terms of both employees and assets under management. Parmo has been elected top10 management talents in finance, 3 consecutive years (Norway, E24 2016-2018), top40 under 40 (Norway, Kapital 2019) and top40 under 40 in international Private Equity (PEI, 2021)

    Synne Foss Budal, General Manager, NoFence ldt

    Synne Budal is the General Manager of Nofence UK Ltd. She started working with sales from the main office from Batnfjordsøra just outside of Molde. Her focus later shifted to the UK expansion and she recently relocated to the UK in order to set up our subsidiary. Synne is passionate about the product and truly believes that farming is the solution to the global climate change challenge.

    Karen Klakegg, Director of People & Culture, Attensi

    Karen is Director of People and Culture in Attensi, a Norwegian scale-up making 3D gamified simulation training for large corporations across the world. She is passionate about building high performing organisations where people thrive and love working. At Attensi she is responsible for hiring, team- and people development, workplace and community, as the company expands from Norway to the UK and other new markets. Karen has a background from Management Consulting in Accenture, Executive Search and holds an MSc in Management, Organisations and Governance from London School of Economics.

    Kevin Rutter, CFO, Goodwille

    In his five years as CFO with Goodwille, Kevin has contributed to the success of many overseas startups entering the UK market. Prior to joining Goodwille, he was Finance Director of one of the fastest-growing professional services businesses in the UK and prior to that held a senior finance position with a large mobile telecoms business. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science and is ACA qualified (Chartered Accountant).

    James Service, Marketing Manager, Goodwille

    James has been working with startups & scaleups from the Nordic region for nearly 15 years, supporting and advising them on their expansion from the Nordics to the UK. Whilst every scaleups journey is unique, the challenges they face relating to raising funds, attracting customers & retaining talent are often the same. James will share his experiences with the guests to find out exactly what it is Nordic scaleups should do for the best chance of success when entering the UK.
