Can I open a UK company if I am not a UK resident?

Yes. You do not need to be a UK resident to have a UK Ltd company, but you do need a UK address. Goodwille can provide you with a registered office service.

What is a Company Secretary?

A company secretary is responsible for the efficient administration of a company, particularly with regard to ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and for ensuring that decisions of the board of directors are implemented. Do I need to register for VAT & how long does it take?

If your VAT taxable turnover exceeds £85,000 in any 12 month period you have to register for VAT. The process can take up to 12 weeks. Ask us if you need help.

What are the requirements for share capital when starting a company?

UK share capital can be as low as 1 share at £1 for UK Ltd companies.

What do I need in order to open a business bank account in the UK, and how long will it take?
