Setting Up Banking in the UK
When setting up your business in the UK from overseas, the part of the process that can cause delays is setting up and opening a bank account. Banks in the UK are risk averse, and if the Director(s) of the entity are based abroad, then they may reject any generic applications made online. However, with Goodwille’s strong relationships with some of the UK’s leading banks, we can support businesses to open their bank account quicker and more efficiently than if they were to do it alone.
If a company director is based abroad, there will, inevitably, be a lot more compliance checks that they and the business will be subject to. Some banks will therefore automatically reject an online application if the business is to go through the application process alone.
Not only do we have excellent working relationships with banks in the UK, we have great relationships with some of the leading banks situated in the Nordics too, including SEB, Handelsbanken & Danske Bank
Our bank account opening service is offered as part of our wider service offering and will encompass this in the package that you choose, should you require that level of support.
