A Good Cause: Team Goodwille fundrasing for UNIQUE – Rare Chromosome Disorder Support Group

Team Goodwille is running the British 10K in Westminster, London on 15 July 2018 to raise money for UNIQUE – a charity with the mission to inform and support anyone affected by rare chromosome and gene disorders.

Charity, fundraising and spreading information on important causes are very close to our hearts at Goodwille, and we hope that by raising awareness of rare chromosome and gene disorders and donating to UNIQUE, we can make a difference to individuals and families in the UK.

Help us make a difference – support #TeamGoodwille in the British 10K and donate to our cause. All donations and contributions, however large or small, make a real and lasting difference.

Follow the fundraising journey – from running practise to fundraising activities on Instagram. Thank you for your support.

Unique provides much needed help and information to those caring for a family member with a rare chromosome disorder. These lifelong disorders affect 1 in 200 live-born babies and those affected are often sick and severely disabled, unable to walk or talk. For more information see www.rarechromo.org

Goodwille joining Christmas Jumper Day to help save children’s lives

Friday 15 December 2017 is Christmas Jumper Day – a national initiative by Save the Children UK. Wear a Christmas jumper and donate a minimum of £1 to help make children’s lives better.

Of course, Team Goodwille wants to make the world better with a sweater. Together with our tenants at North Star Law, the London team gathered outside Goodwille’s London office in our most festive knits to show support for Save the Children and this beautiful initiative.

Make the world better with a sweater – put a jumper on and donate for charity today.

Goodwille raising money for charity

#teamgoodwille are running the British 10k again this year, raising money for two UK charities; Sands and the Children’s Society.

SANDS supports people who have been affected by the loss of a baby by providing bereavement support through remembrance events, online forums and a support helpline amongst other services. They also fund research in to stillbirths and neonatal deaths, working with the NHS and other organisations to help improve maternity care.

The Children’s society supports vulnerable children in the UK, for example children living with adults who misuse substances, those suffering with mental health problems and young carers. They work primarily with children aged 10 to 18 and in 2015/2016 they helped over 18,000 children. Alongside this they also campaign for changes in law to help these children.

The British 10K, sponsored by Virgin Sport, takes place on Sunday 9th July. Our 7 person team will be aiming for some PB’s but more importantly to raise money and awareness for SANDS Charity along with the Children’s Society.

It is with the greatest sadness that the Board and Staff of Goodwille have to inform you of the death, on 6th July 2016, after a short illness, of our Founder and Chairman, Annika Åman-Goodwille.

It has been one of Annika’s greatest achievements that she has succeeded in infusing her Goodwille colleagues with her own remarkable dedication. This shared commitment has ensured that the company has achieved consistent, sustainable growth on sound financial foundations. Annika has fostered Goodwille’s reputation as “good people to do business with”, to the point where highly valued clients have become longstanding business friends.

Svend Littauer and Kevin Rutter will continue to run the Goodwille business on a day to day basis. You should expect normal service in our commitment to your business. If you have any questions please contact Svend or Kevin.

Svante Adde has been involved with Goodwille for the last 7-8 years and will take over as non-executive Chairman. Alexander Goodwille, who has been Head of IT at the company for two years, has also joined the Board.

The Goodwille and Åman families continue to support the business both in the short and longer terms, as a respect to Annika’s legacy in Goodwille.

Annika’s funeral will will be held on Friday 5th August at The Swedish Church, 6 Harcourt St, London W1H 4AG at 2 p.m. Service with drinks and refreshments after. There will also be a Memorial in Sweden on Hven at a later date.
