Grow it, show it – Movember

November is dedicated to showing support for men’s health issues. At Goodwille, we are proud to be part of the global movement to stop men dying too young by taking part in Movember. 5 brave Mo Bros from Team Goodwille will grow a moustache and we hope that their faces will inspire donations and start conversations about this important and global issue.

For 30 days, our Mo Bros to embark on a journey for men’s health. This year’s warriors are:

Alexander Goodwille (CEO)
Kevin Rutter (CFO)
Michael Thake
Tore Overgaard Frederiksen
Alex Blain

The rules are simple! On the 1st November the Mo Bros arrive to the office with a clean shaved face, and by the end of the month a dedicated jury will evaluate, measure and decide on who has grown the biggest and prettiest moustache. Who do you think can grow the best Mo? Only time will tell, but one thing is for certain. No matter the shape or style of the Mos, they will make a real change for all men!

We are taking part in this campaign to support Movember Foundation, a global charity tackling men’s health issues including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.

Show your support for men’s health by joining Goodwille & the Mo Bros in raising funds and awareness for this good cause and donate to our Movember fundraising campaign. All funds raised will go to directly to Movember Foundation for an everlasting impact on men’s health.

Let’s do this together for all the dads, sons, brothers, and mates in our lives! #DOITFOROTHERS

A Good Deed – Running for Charity

Running for a Good Cause.

On 14 October 2018, The Royal Parks Half Marathon takes place in London. The race takes runners on a stunning tour through London; past some of the capital’s world-famous landmarks and through four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.

Running The Royal Parks Half Marathon is not only a good way to do some sightseeing of our beautiful capital, but it’s also the perfect occasion to run for a good cause and raise money for charity!

We are running for our company charity MicroLoan Foundation. MicroLoan Foundation is a UK-based charity that empowers women in sub-Saharan to work their way out of poverty. Through small loans, business training and ongoing guidance, these women learn to build businesses capable of sustained success. By giving hope and not handouts, MicroLoan provides the poorest women in sub-Saharan Africa with the tools and skills needed to move towards financial sustainability and to become self-sufficient.

Help us raise money for MicroLoan! Do a Good Deed and donate to our cause on our donation page. The money you help us raise will provide more loans and business training to women living in sub-Saharan Africa.

Welcome to Goodwille’s Coffee Morning

On Friday 28 September, Goodwille is taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee morning by hosting Macmillan Coffee Mornings in both our offices. Join us for a fundraising event that both tastes and feels good!

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is a fundraising event for people facing cancer taking place all over the UK on 28 September 2018. All donations on the day are made to Macmillan Cancer Support, and last year the event raised over £27 million! We want to do our part and beat that number this year and therefore open up the doors to our offices to anyone who wants to help us raise money for cancer!

What you can expect from Goodwille’s Coffee Morning:

First of all, lots of good cakes! Some of them will be home-made, some might be from one of the amazing coffee shops we have around the corner. What is for certain is that there will be a selection of cakes to suit every taste. Make sure to get here early though, we’re not saving the best for last!

For every coffee (or tea) and cake you try on the day, you donate a desired amount to our Coffee Morning Fund.  We will also host bake&cake related games where you donate to take part and the lucky winner gets a prize! Everything raised by the end of the day goes directly to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Help us raise money to beat cancer – join us for delicious cake(s), coffee and fun games between 10am and 2pm on 28 September. Pop in for a chat with our friendly colleagues, judge our baking skills and start your weekend the best way possible together with us! Clients, partners, friends and strangers – everyone is welcome to our Coffee Morning! Hope to see you in one of the Goodwille offices in London or Warwick (see addresses below).

Good Turn – Fundraising for Cancer Research UK

At Goodwille, we love doing good. We instil an attitude towards helping others among the members of Team Goodwille, and encourage and support our employees to find opportunities to raise money for a good cause or volunteer with charity. Collectively as a team, we take part in several fundraising activities annually and support charities and organisations that help make the world a better place.

On 30 June 2018, Team Goodwille’s Charlotte Truslove and her team ‘Better than the Breast’ are taking on a Pretty Muddy® 5K run, a muddy obstacle course, to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Help beat cancer sooner – do a good turn and sponsor Charlotte and Better than the Breast by donating to Cancer Research UK on this fundraising page:

Thank you for your contribution.

Rare Chromosome Disorder Awareness Week

17 – 23 June 2018 is Rare Chromosome Disorder Awareness Week – a week with the important mission to raise awareness about rare chromosome and gene disorders, and to shine a light on the individuals and families affected by these disorders and how for them, rare is normal.

We want to be part in raising awareness and supporting people affected by rare chromosome disorders across the UK, and to do that Team Goodwille is running the British 10K in Westminster, London on 15 July 2018 to raise money for UNIQUE – a charity with the mission to inform and support anyone affected by rare chromosome and gene disorders.

Charity, fundraising and spreading information on important causes are very close to our hearts at Goodwille, and we hope that by raising awareness of rare chromosome and gene disorders and donating to UNIQUE, we can make a difference to individuals and families in the UK.

Help us make a difference – support #TeamGoodwille in the British 10K and donate to our cause. All donations and contributions, however large or small, make a real and lasting difference.

Follow the fundraising journey – from running practise to fundraising activities on Instagram. Thank you for your support.

Unique provides much needed help and information to those caring for a family member with a rare chromosome disorder. These lifelong disorders affect 1 in 200 live-born babies and those affected are often sick and severely disabled, unable to walk or talk. For more information see
