Håkan heads up Evelyn Partners’ Customs & Excise team and he specialises in generating duty savings, auditing customs & excise governance processes and mitigating compliance risks in the international supply chain. He has 20+ years working experience in the field of International Trade Compliance. Håkan is Swedish and trilingual, having worked in both the Netherlands and Sweden before moving to the UK in 2010. Prior to moving into practice, Håkan held positions as in-house advisor at the headquarters of global corporations such as Diageo, GE Healthcare, Laird Technologies, Philips Medical Systems and Cisco Systems.

Louis Miles-Stringer
Customs Manager

Louis joined Evelyn Partners from Crowe where he spent two years advising multinational businesses on customs and international trade matters. Louis has also held a management position at a soft commodity trading business which offered end to end supply chain services, including customs brokerage, gaining valuable experience of the operational side of international trade and customs, particularly in the wake of the UK’s exit from the EU. Louis has supported a range of multinational groups and businesses on the review and implementation of customs processes, offering both compliant and pragmatic recommendations that are implementable at scale.
